Looking for a wildlife refuge near Puyo?
YanaCocha, since 2006, has been carrying out important work for the benefit of the conservation of flora and fauna in Pastaza, receiving animals victims of illegal trafficking, which are confiscated by the environmental authorities in the different controls that are carried out in the province, as well as in the main markets, squares and in homes where people have them as pets or companion animals.
The YanaCocha Biopark houses more than 200 specimens, 42 species, the same ones that are under the care and attention of specialists, volunteers and workers, who put all their love and effort so that the lives of these animals are in better conditions than those who previously lived.
